STEP – Student Transformation & Exploration Program is designed to help students in grades 8–12 explore career pathways, develop professional skills, and gain a better understanding of opportunities available after high school through mentorship, educational workshops, and career exploration resources.
Many students are expected to make important decisions about their future without being exposed to the wide variety of careers, educational pathways, and professional opportunities available to them. STEP aims to help students feel more informed, prepared, and confident as they begin exploring their future goals and potential career paths.
Students who participate in STEP programming may receive recognition for involvement in educational and professional development activities. Participants may also become eligible for letters of recommendation or Certificates of Completion after successfully concluding the program.
Students who demonstrate strong involvement, leadership, and commitment to the program may also be invited to serve as STEP Ambassadors at their school. STEP Ambassadors help promote the program, encourage student participation, and support outreach efforts while gaining valuable leadership experience and volunteer hours that can be included on resumes, college applications, and scholarship applications.
